C onvinced, firmly, of the importance of every action, we wanted to be part of an environmental approach, from the very beginning of the company. This is how environmental concerns, the eco-citizen approach, but also the well-being of those who make up the company, were central elements in the creation of the company, and in the substance that we, its founders, wanted to give it. Our respective professional experiences as executives, Hugo in automobile distribution and Catherine in hospitality, largely contributed to building our desire to undertake and the way in which we wanted to do it. From there was born our CSR commitment.
S ustainable development, respectful of nature and people, was a central idea, although the beginnings were modest. Our first decisions were tainted with ​​these global thoughts. The choice of the first vehicle, the tourist offer, the commercial approach and the place of the first person within the structure, as well as the place of the structure itself in its environment, were made to be sustainable, on long terms and respectful.
R eal enthusiasts and passionate people are the words that best characterize us. It is this state of mind that allowed us to accept feedback on our initial choices and our long-term vision. These comments were numerous, often encouraging, sometimes very critical, rarely indifferent. Some made us doubt, asking ourselves existential questions about ourselves and our company, but we were able to see further, to stay the course towards our objective, to create value, while respecting our values. It is the obstacles, and our ability to overcome them, that define us.
2024 is the year that saw us begin a certification process for our Corporate Social Responsability commitment, with Agence Lucie and the sponsorship of the Bordeaux Tourist & Convention Office. This certification process should lead to obtaining the Lucie Progress Label, attesting to our approach and our desire to become a player with a positive impact on people and the region. Profit is no longer the sole driving force. Agence Lucie helps us aim for sustainable growth and develop our business, ensuring not only that we do no harm but also that we generate a positive impact on society and the planet. Everyone has a role to play: us, our partners, and our clients.
This long-term work, which requires involvement and motivation, should result in the certification of our CSR commitment in 2025.
